WASCAL Master Program “Climate Change and Marine Sciences” at the Atlantic Technical University of Cabo Verde, 2020-2021 Academic Year
The West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) under the sponsorship of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has launched its second call for applications for the 2020/2021 academic year for its marine graduate studies program. A further call has been launched in paralel for the Master Research Program in Informatics for Climate Change in Burkina Faso.
The Master Research Program “Climate Change and Marine Sciences” is based at the Atlantic Technical University of Cabo Verde (UTA – Universidade Técnica do Atlântico). The program will cooperate closely with the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, the University of Kiel and the Thünen Institute as German partner institutions, and with the Institute of the Sea (IMar – Instituto do Mar) as the Cabo Verdean partner institution. The program will make use of the Ocean Science Centre Mindelo (www.oscm.cv) and students will benefit from a dynamic research environment and projects running in the region.
The deadline for application for the Master's Research Program “Climate Change and Marine Sciences” (MRP-CCMS) is June 5, 2020
